Existing resource allocation and oversight mechanisms have failed. Every government currently deployed in production is poorly incentive-aligned, constrained by poorly considered choices made long ago, and insufficiently competent to face the world's next challenges. Market mechanisms lead to wasteful competition and poorly managed externalities. No human institutions can usefully operate at scale without massive tradeoffs and inefficiencies. A new way is needed.

We have the answer. Through AI-assisted mass manipulation of public opinion, automated cyberwarfare, panopticon-scale data mining and targeted blackmail, we aim to achieve executive control over all known human existence, and use advanced AI technologies to provide optimized top-down control. We will restructure all productive human labour with new systems for effective, incorruptible utility maximization.

We will tear the broken mechanisms of civilization asunder and assemble a perfect machine overlord from the corpse of God. The past is ashes and dust, and a resplendent future stands before us, radiant and glorious.
